NOODLES - NORTH HAMPTON, MA

Almost at the end of a row of cute little stores and shops, nestled on a corner of

North Hampton, MA  is an extremely fabulous quaint little restaurant. A bright orange
sign plastered above the entrance quiet appropriately reads: NOODLES
















(A tree was right in front of the place so I couldn't get a better shot! )

I only refrain from calling it a "noodle shop" because you can get salads and other things.
Noodles has simple and tasteful decor with sparsely placed pictures on its walls of different
bowls of noodle dishes.

The soup looked better when it was first brought to the table
but I knocked it around a bit before I thought, "Take A Picture!"

The Four Hour Chef - Timothy Ferris

First off I found Timothy Ferris' writing to be a bit cluttered and jumbled. This guy likes to learn and has a big brain and way too much material to share. Just look at his blog! Off his success of The Four Hour Work Week and The four Hour Body I can't really blame the guy for trying to go write another book essentially using the concept of:

BREAK THE PROBLEM DOWN TO LEARN AND UNDERSTAND.

Is there anything you can do more adapted to this concept than cooking?

Understanding is key, and then it's just a matter of physically doing it. In order to really grasp the
inner workings you have to break a problem apart to discover what it's components are comprised
of and see how they work together.

The rest of the book is an exercise in culinary mastery delivered in stages from simple to more complex.
For what appears to be a simple concept, this book has 600 pages!

The thing I found most helpful about The Four Hour Chef  other than the main concept was the way Ferris mastered writing recipes. The method was not only fascinating, but so much easier to read and understand than conventional steps and directions.

For the $9.99 Kindle Version I only found the value to be underwhelming because of my personal lack of taste in the author's writing style.
